Herbalists have known about cinnamon for 4000 years and it has traditionally been used to help soothe digestive problems, but recently cinnamon has been at the centre of research which shows it can also help the body maintain a more even balance of its energy reserves between

meals.

Cinnamon’s distinctive flavour and aroma comes from a constituent in the essential oil of the bark and it is the various terpenoids found in the volatile oil that are believed to be responsible for cinnamon’s reported health benefits.

We use a pure potent extract of cinnamon bark, which is not to be confused with culinary cinnamon.

This is sometimes included in shop bought products, and generally too little cinnamon is used to bring any benefits.

Our tablets are coated to make them tasteless (although they do have a pleasant cinnamon aroma) and easy to swallow.
